Looped ponytail, the perfect jumper hairstyle

Snuggling up in front of the roaring fire with some popcorn, a movie or a good book. It is not quite time for that yet but it is definitely time for a jumper. I don’t know about you but my jumpers often cause my locks to become massively frizzy from the static. I know I am not alone. We need them to keep me warm but not make my hair crazy. Up-dos are an easy solution to this. This is a low key sophisticated so it is perfect for wearing with or without your jumper, day or night. Keep reading this step-by-step tutorial and #wearcliphair to show off your look.

Step number 1: Preparation

This is totally easy to achieve but it is very high fashion. I have seen it in all the magazines and on catwalks. Don’t worry about this step too much at the moment. It is very versatile. You can rock it with newly washed or day-old hair and with curly or straight locks. All you need to do is make sure your hair is tangle-free and all is good.

Step number 2: Gather your locks

It is time to create your basic shape. Make a centre part then pull the rest of your hair back into a low ponytail. Make sure your top part is bump-free so this style looks deliberately unmanicured rather than just altogether messy. You want your ponytail to be at the nape of your neck. Make sure it is secured tightly so you can attach your Cliphair extension pieces around the outside.

Step number 3: make your loop

Once your ponytail is looking thick and lovely separate a one-inch section from underneath. Get another hair tie and pull your ponytail, excluding your separated section, through it a few times. On the last time only pull it ¾ of the way through. This will create your basic loop shape. It will look different on you depending on what your hair looks like and what length it is. Once your loop is secure you have the option of fanning out your loop. This will give the style a more undone look, so it is totally up to you. When you are happy with your loop to wrap your separated section around the base of your ponytail to hide your extensions and add a little flare to the style.

Have fun in your jumpers with your frizz-free hair!
